Hello Cincinnati Stakeholder,
The City will hold two budget engagement sessions in the next few weeks to offer opportunities for residents to learn about the budget, as well as develop a better understanding of how the process works. These two-hour sessions will also provide residents with a hands-on opportunity to “balance the budget” through a fun and interactive group exercise that offers a glimpse into how the City makes difficult budget choices.
The first session is Tuesday, 10/18, at the Evanston Recreation Center from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
If you cannot attend the first session, a second (exact same) session will take place on Wednesday, 11/2 at the Price Hill Recreation Center from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
These events are part of a larger City effort to further enhance community engagement throughout the budget process. This includes enhanced survey tools, educational opportunities and a variety of public meetings. We encourage you to sign up to attend so you can learn more about our budget and provide useful information we will use to improve next fiscal year’s budget. I also encourage you to forward this e-mail to your contacts to help us promote this event.
Food and refreshments will be provided! Please use the link to RSVP for either session: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/pifsignup
If you are unable to make the meeting, but still would like to give your feedback, please take our survey which asks questions related to your satisfaction with City services, and what services you would fund/reduce if you had the option. Thank you for your interest and participation!
