Dear Community Members,
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is launching a community outreach effort in Hamilton County to share potential scenarios for public transit service expansion, to seek citizen feedback on various options being considered, and to learn more about transportation needs.
The community outreach session for your area is:
Tuesday, May 9 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Cincinnati Hamilton County Public Library Main Branch
We hope that you will join us to provide your feedback. We cannot be successful without community-wide input, feedback and new ideas.
As you may well be aware, the Metro Futures Task Force, a citizen group of 20 business, civic and community leaders, released a report in 2016 recommending that SORTA should continue to seek innovative ways to expand Metro services throughout Hamilton County, with a particular emphasis on connecting people to jobs and services.
Hearing from our community partners and residents is important to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps to build a public transit system that meets their needs and connects them to where they need to go.
Thank you for your consideration of attending this community outreach session. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please contact VP of External Affairs Sallie Hilvers at 632-7681 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
