Pedestrian Safety Summit

Councilmember Landsman is hosting a Pedestrian Safety Summit on Tue 21 May at 6pm at the Evanston Recreation Center, 3204 Woodburn Ave.

The Pedestrian Safety Summit will give his office the opportunity to hear from you about the questions, concerns, or recommendations you have regarding pedestrian safety in the City of Cincinnati. Clay Alliance Pottery Fair

Sat 4 May
10am-4pm
East Walnut Hills – 1523 Madison Rd

More than 40 of the area’s top clay artists come together for the Clay Alliance‘s 24th Annual Spring Pottery Fair.

You’re sure to find that piece you just can’t live without, from an amazing selection of both functional and decorative items that includes everything from plates, platters and bowls to one-of-a-kind art and garden pieces. The perfect opportunity to get that unique Mother’s Day gift, and treat yourself, of course.

Just one block west of the intersection of Woodburn Ave. and Madison Rd. in vibrant East Walnut Hills – with free parking immediately adjacent.

Follow the event on Instagram and Facebook to get a sneak peek at the variety, color and style of work by participating artists.

Rain or shine. Parking and admission are free!

Neighborhood Cleanup

At 9am on the first Saturday of every month, residents of East Walnut Hills, Evanston and Walnut Hills will gather in a meeting spot in one of these neighborhoods and, following the advice of community stakeholders, select an area to clean up.

For the cleanup at 9am on Sat 1 Feb, we’re meeting in front of Evanston Recreation Center (3204 Woodburn Ave.) in Evanston. Disposable gloves and trash bags will be provided.

This community initiative was started in the Spring of 2019 and has been honored with an award from Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and now attracts individuals and volunteer groups from all over Cincinnati.

The neighborhood cleanup program is currently looking for a new leader! If you have the passion to coordinate this popular monthly event, please contact the Events Committee chair, Duke Durfee.
